The Story Glade began as a simple hobby; creating sensory experiences for my two girls. With each new set, our love for designing colorful, engaging sensory mixes continued to grow. Soon, we introduced our Play Pals, and with them came even more stories, imagination, and magical moments.

What is Sensory Play?
Sensory play is any activity that engages a child's senses; touch, sight, sound, smell, and movement, to encourage exploration and learning. Through scooping, pouring, sorting, searching, and storytelling, children naturally develop important skills while having fun.
Open-ended sensory play can help support:

Who can play with Sensory Kits?
Story Glade sensory kits are thoughtfully designed for children ages 3 and up. These kits contain small parts. Because every child develops differently, we encourage caregivers to use their own judgment when deciding if this product is appropriate for their child.
- Children should always be supervised by an adult while using sensory materials.
- Sensory materials are for play only and are not intended for consumption.
- If any material becomes damaged or contaminated, discontinue use and discard.
- Keep away from pets and children who may mouth or ingest small objects.
- Store in a cool, dry place after play.
How long do Sensory Kits last?
With proper care, your Story Glade sensory kit can provide months or even years of imaginative play! The lifespan of each kit depends on how often it's used and how well it's cared for.
To help your kit last:
- Store it in a cool, dry place.
- Keep the sensory filler dry and free from moisture.
- Wash hands before play to help keep materials clean.
- Return all pieces to the container after use.
- Replace any damaged or worn pieces as needed.
Some natural fading or light dusting of the sensory filler may occur over time, especially during the first few uses. This is completely normal and does not affect play. Simply wipe away any residue with a dry cloth or paper towel.
